Yeah I guess there are a ton of advantages, but at 18 and straight out of high school with very little life experience, I would need to literally pay someone to hire me, even at a job like this (this is no exaduration).And since I am low on cash, it is a really bad option.As for the laptop, I will probably sell most of my steam inventory and straight up buy a new one since I can't find any replacements for the gpu nor the motherboard.Thanks for taking the time to reply though!

Anyway, you certainly have a powerful perspective on dealing with these feelings. I hadn't thought too much about that sense of "focus", but it would definitely help if I could concentrate concentrate on my own goals without worrying about other people's. I greatly appreciate you reminding me of that! I also agree that *most* things aren't for free (exceptions including things determined at birth) and that we rarely know the full story behind one's strengths (you may see the works of an artist but rarely see the years of practice behind them). Unfortunately, I still overthink these things a lot, but hopefully as I develop and recognize my own strengths, that feeling of inferiority will go away :D

You are correct in saying that it's helpful to empty the mind every now and then; I believe that one of the main issues is that I put too much energy into negative thoughts. For example, I frequently worry about how people perceive me, and I put a lot of mental effort into thinking how my everyone, including my friends, perceive me (e.g., "What if X actually hates me?"). I did begin regular (3 days a week) exercise a couple months ago, because I knew, as you said, that it would improve my health, which would result in a boost in self-esteem. I've been doing additional things here and there, but unfortunately, just like with making the raffle, sometimes it's like I have to fight myself to do these things that will help. In any case, I truly appreciate your comment; when people want to put effort into helping, even if it's just spending 2 or 3 minutes (or certainly longer) to type out a comment, it means a lot to me. I wish the best in all you do.

Ahaha, it's not tiring in that way; I've been sleeping decently. What I meant is that making the raffle was mentally exhausting in a sense; on one hand I knew that it may help to mention why I was absent, but on the other hand I'm telling myself that there's no point in doing so, that I don't deserve help, etc, and certainly these thoughts are the product of the issues that I mentioned. Hence, going against those thoughts is tiring.

Fortunately I am not in that category, but it's still annoying that they don't have enough funding for everyone that needs it.

Yes, I applied to University, but not for an art Degree. I applied to Information Technology Graduate Engineer, Process Technology Graduate Engineer, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. My grades are good enough for getting in Mathematics, physics, and Chemistry straight away. The Engineering ones have tests to do, but they are Math, chemistry and physics based, which are my strongest subjects.

Speaking of battle medic, I just don't know. I tried it and it was hard even with normal medigun against competent players, I wouldn't do it with QF because 2-3 people (or hell, even one non-asleep Heavy) can outdamage megaheal, resulting in 2 dead medics.

The problem is, thanks to smaller QF overheal (and no uber) you either have a choice of firing it early to save pocket life, potentially running out when you need it most, or risking it and ending up without a pocket because rocket/grenade/meatshot did just enough damage to kill pocket even with megaheal. QF was my favourite medigun and believe me, I run into a situation lucky double rocket or krit ending life of my pocket and leaving me defenceless far too often... And now with rarer megaheals you need to be even more careful so what's the point if every other medigun has better upsides?
